3D Printing. Paris Fashion Week.

3D Design: a relatively new and experimental field. Iris van Herpen is a leading designer in the realm of three dimensional printing techniques. In the fourth (and latest) collection, Voltage, she is capturing the electricity of the human body. All of the intricate layers remind me of making paper snow flakes as a child. Herpen's clothing has been titled as a "revolution" in fashion. She is someone to keep an eye on as she makes her mark on the industry. Admire her previous work here. ps- DO NOT forget to look at the shoes just as carefully as the clothing, they are wonderful.

Georgia On My Mind

Queen of the Southwest, Georgia O'Keeffe is an artist who truly harbors the spirit of the American frontier. O'Keeffe is most known for her floral and skull studies- painted  in her later years while living in New Mexico, but I love her  for a different reason. Her strong character, fearless simplicity, and impeccable style is a constant source of inspiration for me. Not to mention, she had two black chow chows, given to her by a neighbor. She named them Bo and Chia. They lived with her at her Ghost Ranch outside of Santa Fe. How adorable?!?

Promise me one thing Fred darling, don't take me home until I'm drunk, very drunk indeed.
